Ferry Boat

Ella's creativity kicks in again! I just LOVE her imagination! She comes up with the best ideas! Here is their "Ferry Boat." She took half of Brooklyn's play house and turned it upside down so it looked like a boat. Then she filled it with toys, pillows and books. She said they were on the ferry boat going to an island for the day:)

She's at it again!

Brooklyn, what a wild little thing! She definitely keeps us on our feet:) She is so much fun! Everyday is an adventure with her, you never know what she'll get into next. When my parents were here, I asked my dad to watch her while I dried my hair. Two seconds later he brings her in and her face is covered with marker! He said, "I turned my head for a second! It didn't take long!" She had climbed onto the dining room table where Ella was coloring, grabbed a marker and drew on her face! She is a little firecracker!! I love it! Here are a couple more from this past week. All we can do is laugh and take pictures:)

I don't usually buy this cereal for the girls so it was a treat for them. When Brooklyn spilled it, she started laughing...Ella on the other hand started crying!
Brooklyn figured out how to open doors...there's no stopping her now. Yep, she's INSIDE the toilet here:)

Taylor's Visit!

Ella's best friend Taylor came to visit last weekend also! Ella and I met Lesley and Taylor downtown at the Aquarium for Taylor's birthday. It was SO great to see them!! They recently moved to Oklahoma so we haven't seen them in a couple months. Ella and Taylor have missed each other so much! The excitement on their little faces was too sweet when they saw each other for the first time:) They kept hugging one another and saying that they miss them and love them. It was really cute! They were also very excited to see the new "Mermaids" that live at the aquarium! We miss you Taylor!!

Mimi and Papa Visit!

My parents came to visit last weekend! We had so much fun and have missed them SO much!! They came to help us finish up some house projects and entertain the girls so we could get some packing done! They were a HUGE help!!! The girls absolutely loved having them here at their beck and call:) Brooklyn walked around the house yelling, "Mimi! Mimi! Mimi! Mimi!" and still does even though she has gone home:( My mom and I took the girls to visit the American Girl store and then out to lunch. Ella picked out a new guitar for her doll Lanie. She was so excited! Then Brooklyn had her special time with Mimi when they went to the Sweet and Sassy Salon for her first haircut:) My dad helped Josh with house projects and chased the girls around the house! Nina came by to help pack up our basement. Wow...we got a lot done but also had a lot of fun! THANK YOU Mimi/Papa/Nina!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Making heart shaped pizzas for Dinner

Table is full of Ella's Valentine goodies from school:) I used to LOVE those parties at school with decorated shoe boxes and Valentine cards!

Girls are listening to a book that Josh and I recorded for them.

Random

This is why Brooklyn can't wear cute little headbands...this is what she does to them after seconds of having one on:) As much as I love them, they are pointless with her!
Can't turn your head for a second with Brooklyn around...she was playing with Ella in her room (I thought so nicely) until I heard the water turn on and checked on them. Brooklyn was in the tub dumping water all over herself and laughing!
She loves her smoothies:)
Ella dropped dead to make a snow angel...our neighbor Brayden was laughing so hard!
Making some more snowballs
Playing in the snow with Brayden:)
She is saying, "Ooooh, COLD!" Her favorite thing to say when she's cold outside:)
This is Bella and here is her story...we had a snowstorm a couple weeks ago and a she turned up at our back door. We felt bad for her but not enough to let her into our house (since we didn't know her) so we built her a waterproof house on the deck to keep her warm. She stayed for a week! I told our neighbors about her just in case anyone was missing her and one of them saw a Lost Cat poster in our area. We called them and sure enough...we found her family!! We were SO happy for them, they came to get her and were holding back tears:) As happy as we were, the girls were sad to say good-bye. Ella wanted to keep her and Brooklyn kept checking on her and calling her "Molly" after our friend's cat that we watched a couple months back.
