Shipwrecked

This is an indoor play place by our house called Shipwrecked. It has a big pirate ship that the girls loved!

Williamson County Fair

We went to the Williamson County Fair with our friends Sarah, Carl and Jaxson. It was so much fun! Our favorite part...they had a farm exhibit that let kids become farmers. It led them through steps of what farmers do, gave them different items at each stop (like a jug of milk after milking the cow, a bag of wool after brushing the sheep, vegetables after planting them, etc.) At the end of the exhibit, they went to the "farmer's market" sold their goods, received money and then went to the store to buy ice cream:) It was so cute! Ella and Jaxson liked the carnival rides, Brooklyn thought they were too loud and walked around plugging her ears.

Just Hanging Out

This one cracks me up...notice her skirt:) What you can't see in the picture is that she's dancing and shaking her hips from side to side and bopping her head!
Who new a diaper box could be so much fun?!

We made these for Josh's birthday...they are so proud of them and I have to say, they impressed me with how well they did on them! These may look nice but what I should have posted was a picture of the kitchen after it!! Lol...there was chocolate on EVERYTHING!

Popsicles (or Ice pops as they are called in TN)...I think I have opened at least 1,000 of them this summer!! They can't get enough of them! Brooklyn has learned her colors though because of them so I can't complain:)

She LOVES this doll house! I keep trying to catch her on video playing with it because she makes up the funniest stories with them:)
Oops:)

Fossils

We had some friends over to dinner recently and they said that the limestone rock wall behind our deck is full of fossils. Apparently this area used to be in the ocean. We started picking rocks out of it and sure enough, we found sea shells, some type of prehistoric worm (that our friends showed us) and some coral! It was crazy!

Nashville Sounds Game

Josh's company had a family picnic at the Nashville Sounds game. It was so much fun but SOOO stinkin' HOT! The girls wanted to get their faces painted but because of the humidity, they were only able to get a temporary tattoo on their arm. The face paint would have melted off of them! It cooled down slightly when the sun finally went down and we were able to stay and enjoy the fireworks!

I just realized when I put this picture on here that the big sign in the back is a guitar...didn't even notice it during the game!

There was a hole in the deck and Josh told the kids that a dragon lived down there and there was a nest of dragon eggs...as you can see they believed him:)
