New Camera Pictures

We got a new camera so I was playing around with it. Here are some pictures of Ella playing in the yard yesterday.

Video: Scared of a Chipmunk

Ella and Taylor were walking around in the woods when they heard a chipmunk. Ella is deathly afraid of animals of all kinds...especially animals in the woods! If it's hard to hear with the music...you can scroll all the way to the bottom where the music is and turn the volume down.

Cabin

Last weekend we went to the cabin with our friends Mike, Lesley and Taylor. We were in the Halloween mood and visited two haunted hotels in town to hear the ghost stories about them. One of the hotels let us go into the room where strange things happen, the ghost is called Grandma Hand who used to live there!! We were so freaked out! The rest of the time we just hung out by the fire and relaxed. Ella and Taylor enjoyed wandering through the woods and finding sticks. They also had fun making some pumpkin purses that they carried around with them.

Vaseline Drama!

Ella was off in her room playing for awhile and then started yelling, "Mama! Daddy! I need help! Where are you?!" Josh and I came running in to find her head covered in Vaseline! It was SO funny, we busted out laughing! She had it all over her hair along with big chunks of it on her face. Josh then stepped in a chunk on the floor and it squished between his toes. It was so nasty but we could not stop laughing! We tried giving her a bath but it is nearly impossible to get out. Some friends of ours called and told us to put corn starch in her hair then wash it with a mixture of baking soda and shampoo. We tried that and it got most of it out but we'll have to do it again in the morning. Ella of course thought the corn starch was the best thing ever:)

Anderson Farms

We go to Anderson Farms pumpkin patch every year to pick out our pumpkins. It is so much fun! We love that place! They have all kinds of stuff to do...s'mores, barrel rides, pony rides, wagon rides, corn maze, petting zoo, hot drinks, etc.! We went this weekend and it was REALLY cold so we couldn't stay very long. Right after we picked out our pumpkins Ella said, "I'm done, I'm cold, I want to go home now."

First Day of Preschool!

Ella had her first day of preschool last Friday! She absolutely LOVES it!! She was so excited! I was nervous to leave her on the first day, I thought for sure she would cry but she started playing with some friends and waved bye with a huge smile on her face:) It was a relief! Her school is adorable!
