Memorial weekend we took a trip to see Oak Ridge, TN. That is where Josh grew up. He lived there before moving to Colorado his junior year of high school (when we met). We visited his Grandmother and Grandad and they were the sweetest couple ever! They really wanted us to stay with them and were so excited that we did. So were we because we had such a great time with them! They gave me a tour of the town that included where Josh went to elementary/middle/high school, church, parks where he played baseball, restaurants where they used to eat, etc. You name it, they showed me:) It was really sweet! The girls loved playing at their house! We threw sticks into the river, played with the hose, had a few tea parties, and just relaxed. It was a great visit:) For 87 years-old and 89 years-old....they are absolutely incredible!!! They seriously wore us out it was unbelievable!!
Snuggling before bedtime:)
This is their backyard...it's beautiful!
Like father...
like daughter:)
This man is 89 years-old and he is crawling around the floor acting like a tiger! I hope that I can be as agile as he is when I'm that old!
The girls had fun playing with the hose
Playing hand-clap games...Grandad was keeping up great!
Brooklyn snooped around their house and ended up finding a little chair/table set which they had a tea party with:)
