Inside Out Play Park

Another fun indoor play place opened near us this week! I hosted a play date there with a play group that we're in and the kids loved it! It has everything you would have at an outdoor park but it's inside:) Perfect for the many rainy days of winter or the SUPER hot days of summer!!

Discovery Center

Found a fun science discovery center to take the girls! They had so many different things for them to do, it was great! They learned about turtles, uncovered dinosaur fossils, fixed cars, built train tracks, shoveled coal into a train to make it go, played with a water irrigation system to grow a garden, built with play dough, walked around a wetlands exhibit outside (which would be much nicer to visit in the summer), learned how air vacuums work by sucking in plastic balls and shooting them out another tube (they loved that one)!

Happy Birthday Ella!

Happy 6th Birthday Ella!! As always, can't believe she's already another year older! She wanted to have her birthday at her gymnastics place. It was a ton of fun! The kids enjoyed a jumping castle, huge slide, swinging into a giant foam pit, jumping on trampolines, riding a zip line, and topping it off with Ella in a harness flying over them where they could grab her feet and let her go! So...much...fun:)

Our party guy was so funny...he would pull Ella down and tell her to stay put (pretending) and then as soon as he would let go and walk away, Ella would FLY back up! The kids were cracking up!!
Our neighbor Kazu. I just think he's the cutest little thing:)

Snow Day!

The south really does freak out about snow! Girls had a "snow day" because there was a chance of 1-2 inches of snow! When Ella woke up, I told her to go back to bed because she had a snow day...she looked out the window and said, "What?! But there's no snow that's weird!" They enjoyed playing in the dusting of it anyway:) Brooklyn wanted to go out without any pants on. I kept telling her she was forgetting something but she assured me that she had her hat, gloves and boots so she must be good to go:)
