Perry...our newest nephew:)

This is Perry, our newest nephew (Chris and Becca's new little peanut). He was born almost 10 weeks early! Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers...he is doing really well but will be in the NICU for awhile so he can grow a bit more!

Park

We went exploring at a park nearby. We found a trail that walked along a creek that Ella said she felt like it was a path into a kingdom so we became princesses on our way to a ball:)

Brooklyn's shirt says it all...Daddy's little Wild Child! Love it!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful moms out there! We celebrated it at the zoo with some friends (Carl, Sarah and Jaxson who also moved out here with Josh's company). It was such a nice day to go out and enjoy with the family:) We spent 4 hours at the zoo, poor Brooklyn was so hot and over it but tried to stay awake as long as possible:) Ella was a trooper and wanted to keep going! We had a lot of fun...thank you Josh, Ella and Brooklyn I love you all more than you'll ever know and am so lucky to be your mama!

Feeding the Lorikeets with Carl and JaxsonFeeding the Lorikeets. Ella didn't want to go in because the last time her and Josh fed them in Colorado one pooped on Josh!

Trying to stay awake...lol:)

Cul-de-sac

This is the end of our cul-de-sac...the girls LOVE it! Ella rides her scooter or bike and Brooklyn hops in her car and we ride around it a million times each day:) It is full of stuff to explore. The other day we saw a waterfall, caterpillar, stream, and tiger looking lizard! Oh and the caterpillar stuffed animal Brooklyn is holding is her new purse;) She won't leave the house without it! As we walk out the door she yells, "My pur, my pur!" and runs to find it. We have had that thing since before she was born and she never touched it until we moved here..so funny how they pick their monthly favorites:)

Nashville...phew, we made it!!

What a process!! I had no idea how much work/stressful it is to move across the country with two little ones! Wow! We made it and thank God we made it safely! Josh and my dad each drove a car while my mom and I flew with the girls. We had rented a house online and had never seen it before so the stress of walking into our new home for the first time was enough stress for me, at least I knew that it was only a rental so if we didn't like it we would only have to be in here for at most 12 months! Thankfully we were pleasantly surprised:) We absolutely LOVE it here! The neighbors have all been so nice and have already baked us a batch of cookies and another family brought over family magazines of fun stuff to do in the area...gotta love southern hospitality:)

The girls are adjusting so well! Before we got here, I wasted so much time stressing about how they will be leaving their friends in Colorado, be in a new house, new bedrooms, they are going to be scared, not sleep, etc. Boy was I wrong!! They LOVE their new rooms, are sleeping awesome and are excited each day to go out and explore the area. We have already registered them for school (can't believe Ella will be going to kindergarten!) and are looking into summer camps for something fun to do.

Nashville is beautiful! It's so green and has SO many trees that Ella is convinced that we moved to the jungle:) We are in an area that is very convenient to everything and we don't even have to get on a highway, anything you can think of (including Josh's new office) is all within 5 miles of us! We are very happy here, glad we are getting settled and are looking forward to our new adventure:)

Easter

This Easter was CRAZY!! We were homeless...had just moved out of our Colorado house and into Josh's mom's place for a week while our moving truck was on it's way to Nashville! We were living in complete chaos, out of suitcases, couldn't find anything and were trying to figure out last minute details with leaving Colorado and our plans for traveling to Nashville! Easter unfortunately took a backseat to the move but the Easter bunny did make it to Nina's house and the girls enjoyed it:)

Brooklyn's Baptism

We decided that we wanted to have Brooklyn baptized at the same church, with the same pastor as Ella was, before leaving Colorado. The church was able to squeeze us in and we were so thankful! Our friends Shavonne and Marcus are now God Parents to both our girls:) Since they live in Australia and couldn't be there for the Baptism, my brother was able to stand in for them and do the readings. Thank you Uncle Chris!!

Uncle Chris, Aunt Becca and Fisher Visit

Uncle Chris, Aunt Becca and Fisher came to visit us one last time in Colorado! We had so much fun with them! We went to the Wildlife Experience, Zoo, to the park and played outside. The kids had a blast together! Thank you for coming to visit us, we miss you guys! Can't wait to see you this summer:)
