Little Spit Fire
Ella loves to see herself in the camera. Sometimes, being the little spit fire that she is, she doesn't have the patience to wait until we are finished with it.
Look who's 2!
Ella had a fantastic birthday! We decided to keep things a little more low key this year. We had a small family celebration while Uncle Chris and Aunt Becca were in town. My dad found his very own bowling ball (with his name engraved) from when he was in a league. He even had shoes to match:) So...we decided he needed to try them out after sitting in their case for ??? years. We all had such an awesome time! She LOVED it! She was running all over the place, probably because we were bombarded by snow that week and were all getting cabin fever.
Wow...we can't believe she's already 2 years old! It really is crazy how fast babies grow up! She's amazing! We are so lucky to have her in our life! We love you Ella! Happy Birthday!

Merry Christmas!
We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did! Chris and Becca, once again, had a tough time getting to town but once they did we were all very excited! We went to our church Christmas Eve with family and friends, then came back to our house for dinner, drinks and games. Ella was allowed to open one gift and chose her Ariel fish tank! She was so excited while she was unwrapping it she kept screaming, "Oh my gosh!!! Oh my gosh!!! What is it?" She must have said it over 20 times before she got it open! Uncle Chris and Josh put everything together for her so she could go to sleep that night with her new fish (named Flounder by Aunt Becca). Surprisingly, she takes such good care of it that we had to hide the fish food because she insists that he's hungry and needs to eat every 5 minutes:) Christmas morning everyone was over opening presents and having a wonderful breakfast with Mimosas. It was so nice having Chris and Becca here to celebrate. Thank you for coming, we miss you so much!!! They bought Ella a Dora 4-wheeler power wheel to cruise around in. It's hysterical! We can't wait for nicer weather to drive it to the park.
Snow Diva!
My parents bought Ella a new snowsuit for Christmas. She was so excited to put it all on even though she couldn't move a muscle while wearing it:) Josh and I took her sledding at the elementary school across the street. Each time it snows, the hills over there fill up with all kinds of sleds and jumps. Ella wasn't too sure about it the first time but we'll for sure take her again soon because we loved it!
